It's no different than the chicks that post a sadface on facebook and refuse to tell anyone what's wrong. What's the point?

I didn't say anything about you posting. That sort of tactic just seems more like a grab for attention.

I can publicly say what's wrong, but it won't be the whole story, and it'll just lead to more and more questions. So I figured - why bother saying anything?

But here's the Cliff's notes: I met someone, and we kinda fell for each other. But due to circumstances beyond our control, he is now going to be gone for about 4 years, give or take. There's a chance it won't be that long, but there's no way of really knowing how it'll go. Today is Day 1 that he is gone. I'm upset, sad, missing him, and really just questioning what to do next.

That's about as much as you're gonna get out of me. I still don't need special treatment, I'm a big girl. Smilie
