I typically take them and dice them up to go in with ground beef, sausage, or venison. It doesn't have as much of that "organ" flavor that way. It's just enough to get the kids to like. If it's just me eating it, I'll typically saute it with peppers and onions or make a spread with it to go on a wrap or something.

And you don't have to get up at 5 to milk the cow. You just have to do it on a regular schedule. Most people around here usually do it at 5 or 6 in the evening every day. Eggs can be collected at any time.

Correction....the roosters will wake my neighbors up since the chicken hut will be on the back of the property. They already hate me so what's the harm?

Once my sister was house sitting for a friend- their border collie pup picked off a chicken on a daily basis til there was none left EEK!
