That's why whenever I am watching a DVD with the kids or whatever and the phone rings... I yell.. "LET IT RING".. over 90% of the time, a phone call is someone I don't really want to talk to at that point.. Let your MIL leave a message..

I'm off to grab some coffee to do some internal temp raising...I swear I'm down to 95F.

I turn my phone(s) off or dont answer when I'm doing something like sleeping or eating or watching tv. It's not worth being disturbed.

If that's true, my temp should be like 99-100F all the time but instead it's usually 97.6F naturally. I have a fever at "normal" body temp.

Yep. I have a phone for my convenience, not for the convenience of those calling me (excepting work outages when I'm on call).

I just always have this weird worry that I'm going to miss an emergency. I hated listening to the voicemail that my dad was going to the hospital because his chest hurt or that grandma had fallen again. So far nothing major has actually happened, but it does make me panick a bit. So I always leave my phone on, on vibrate just so I don't miss major things

That makes sense

My mom leaves her phones on all the time and sleeps like crap cuz people always call her, day or night, for non emergencies. Because they know she will answer!

I rarely even answer my phone when I'm technically available.

*sigh* What a dull day today! I have a monthly report to finish writing, monthly summary reports to fill in, lab inspection to do and finish up some particle sizing. At least all of that and probably more to do today and I really don't wanna do any of it!

Especially since I had a dream last night where someone...I'm assuming Phrozt but I don't actually remember...asked me why I was getting up and ready for work when it was a Saturday. So I woke up thinking it was Saturday and was very unhappy to have to come into work!
