I think the only ones who truly even consider how much you are spending (within the limits) is you (if you do) and an annoying pea counter with no life- and screw them.

I'm going to be there for the entire work week I think, and I can't wait to hit some authentic restaurants. I'm tempted to drop in on my SIL and her husband. She and DW haven't spoken in years since their dad died because her other siblings ganged up on her and my MIL and tried to steal all of the inheritance. I'll just show up and be all up in their grill yell, "What up, bitches? Let's go eat!!!!!"

I was so naive when I first stated work.
I didn't expect a promotion or anything.. but I thought it would be appreciated if I did stuff to save money. Then I realized my first boss would schedule all these unnecessary business trips, and make sure they were 3 or 4 leg tips to maximize his frequent flyer milers so he could take his family on vacation for free.. LMAO What a scammer. He even bragged about it to us.
Of course, he had money for all these trips, but no money in the budget to fix all the broken crap in the lab, which would've actually improved productivity.
