I'm farking exhausted. I've been out in the yard since 9am burning, but I got about another 200 square feet reduced to ash. I really hope they don't do another burn ban this year or I'm screwed from the end of the month until may. Annoyed

I used to work in a County land records office, and there was this crazy one armed guy who was always filing weird declarations about Sovereignty and stuff. They didn't mean anything legally, apparently, but if they were properly executed and notarized we had to take his filing fee and record them Crazy

Yeah those people are nuts. DW started looking in to it and tried to convince me to start doing it all, and I had to explain to her how it doesn't really work.

Dude, if there were any other method to watch Live TV in High-Def on my HTPC, I'd be doing it. WMC is *only* for showing LiveTV. I use XBMC for my music and movies and pictures, and it's a dream to work with.

WMC has no settings you can review/change/optimize, and doesn't provide any kind of usable information when it crashes. Oh, did I mention? It crashes whenever I try to tune a freaking TV channel. Mad

I've given up trying to figure out how to get live TV though a PC once I get rid of cable.

If you use OTA (over-the-air, broadcast, antenna) reception, any PCIe card for your desktop will do it, or an older Silicon Dust HDHomerun network tuner (I've got one) will pull in your unencrypted Clear QAM-256 channels.
