I only go to school there, I actually live in Stockton on the weekends when I am not in Davis... I was talking about the cops in Stockton... although the one time I got mugged at gunpoint they came fast enough.

I got into UCLA if that helps... rejected by Stanford FrownFrown

I chose Davis as it was close to home. Plus, it is about 50% Asian (I think) vs. Irvine which was at around 54%. It upped my chances of finding an Asian girl...

I got automatic into all UCs except UCLA and Berkeley where I had to actually apply, I would have went to Berkley if I would have gotten in, but I settled with Davis. They call Davis the place where people didn't get into Berkley, I just call it close to home.
