And people thought Grimm's Fairy Tales were terrible for kids . . . Now we've got Disney. Hooboy...
Hey...at least the Disney Cinderella didn't have the Step-Sisters cutting off their toes and heals to make the shoe fit like in the Grimm's...

I'm still trying to figure out what's the right amount of scary/creepy/weird for kids...

Which we don't get to know? Sorry ...nosy...
Well, I guess the practical reasons are:

kids get to see their mom.

saves money (the older ones are going to need post high school training/college/whatever soon) and this is the only way to finanicially swing it.

It is some help, to have another person help you drive the kids everywhere, etc.

But it's difficult.. I don't want to complain about it anymore (that's not productive). Very difficult at times.

Isn't it also so wonderful not to have to keep nagging them to go potty?
I didn't have to fake excitement when progress was being made. I was genuinely thrilled LMAO

Yea, I was not a clean freak, I must confess.

Yea, too bad you weren't local Smilie
Well.....the youngest is in cloth diapers so he should be getting potty trained very soon. The 11 yo is obviously potty trained, and his 3yo brother is as well. But the 3yo girl refuses to drop a deuce on the toilet. She holds it in so long that when she finally goes it hurts. So she typically goes in her sleep after 3 or 4 days of holding it. She has some mental hangup about going so it's been difficult with her. But I've got three that pee on the toilet now and two that poo on the toilet. We are making good progress.

Wiles, BQ.....I'm happy to announce that I saw the top of DW's head last night for the first time in years. Blush

I think that Grimm's tales and the older Disney movies are great to teach kids morality. Look at Pinocchio. Yes it's scary as crap for a little one, but it teaches them to listen to their conscience. Scare the fark out of them while they are young so they don't do the stupid shit they want to do like run across a busy parking lot. They don't know the dangers out there yet and need to know to trust their parents. We sort out any of the mental damage the stories may have left with them as they get older and can look back, understand, and reason. It worked for DS1.

Our sex life has been getting amazing over the last 4 or 5 months. I mean we always had a lot of sex, but the sex itself leaves both of us happily exhausted.

She said there would be more to come. The last time she did that, I was still in sales, working from 8am to 8pm every day, and my diet consisted of CFA for breakfast, subway for lunch, chicken wings for dinner, a twelve pack of miller lite for a night cap, and a fifth or two of vodka before I was ready to go in to the bedroom at 2am, wake her up, have some sex, go to sleep, and get up again at 630am......6 days a week. I can't imagine the condition of my body, internally or externally, was very pleasant for her. Now I have a much better diet, don't drink nearly as much, and shower 3 times a day at the least. She was pleasantly surprised that she got to enjoy it, too. laugh out loud

Seriously, I don't know why they ever made that movie.
The bizzare thing is that my mom was like "Oh that was such a cute movie".. I mean. WTF.

Yea, TP.. beware of wolves that offer you free beer on the road laugh out loud
