I was one of those straight A perfect attendance kids. Now looking back on things, I missed out on some important parts of life because of being afraid of missing class. And I'm serious... I missed out on a great-grandparent's funeral
Oh heck. I don't even take that advice now. I never know when to take a sick day at work. I come in here when I'm half dead because "I gotta get this job out!"
Oh - but the part about the 5-10 years it won't matter what tests... Yeah, I had someone rub it in my face one day about how he got promoted even though he missed more class and had a lower GPA than me. We went to the same college...
I still have dreams that I forgot to take x class and im really not going to graduate - talk about a freaking blur!
