I did enjoy it when I had it running (and I had some smaller ones, too), but the population had been slowly going down and when my favorite slug died, I just lost heart in it.
He wasn't a very colorful slug or even a very bright one. He was more like a very mellow underwater cow with no legs and a poor sense of balance. The tank was full of live rock formed into archways and caverns and all day long he would climb those live rock hills and, much like Jack and Jill (except without Jack), he would trip and go tumbling down in much the way that you'd imagine an undersea cow without bones or legs would.
But on that tragic, fateful day, he happened to land upon a large sea anemone which, as any well-behaved coelenterate would, obligingly ate him. I was actually in the house when it happened, but somehow failed to hear his little slug screams, and that was the end of my favorite slug.
I am nowhere near to catching up with all the excitement in the land of Wiles, but I thought I'd best clear that up. Gotta head to a POA board meeting.
I still have live rock in a bunch of 5-gallon buckets in the garage, along with heaters and other do-dads. Just in case I decide to fire it up again--or Disney decides to make it into a movie.
My neighbor has two swans and a bunch of ducks in his pond. DW and the kids were over there, and one swan and all of the ducks came to the front door and started honking and quacking. They went outside, and he asked where the other swan was. They had all come to tell him that the other swan had died. It was just floating in the pond.
Seriously, if it wasn't for spell check in Firefox, I'd be in trouble. :stupidllama:

What's a D/D donor, is that breast size? Or some analogy?
I hooked the car horn on my dads truck up to his brake pedal. Great fun was had by all.
I wouldn't say stupid. Elicit, maybe.
