Having not thought about it, I'd have to scout out a good location first.

I expected it to happen, because it does, most days.

hey thread

me and mom are going to spend the night in a Haunted Barn on the Gettysburg Battlefields with ghost hunters Reaper

Is it legal to sleep in a federal park? Dontknow I mean I know they have federal campgrounds, but I didn't know you could do that on a federal battlefield. Can you have a fire?

Gettysburg is pretty interesting
There is the federal park there, but a lot of the battlefield areas are/were privately owned

For example barns (like the one we are staying in), restaurants, homes, hotels- were all converted into makeshift hospitals for the injured or sleeping quarters for higher ups. So this is actually a person's private property.

The Federal park area does have a campground, scouts go there a lot. I hear the bathrooms are vomit There was a big to do about building a casino there a couple of years back, I'm not sure if they did or not.

I went to grad school for 2 years about a half hour from there and never toured the sites there Facepalm

I know you can camp at the Federal Park at Hawaii volcanoes too, its pretty cheap.

Good points. I tend to only camp in state parks so I don't know. Did you finish grad school? What did you go for? I was thinking about taking the GMAT or the LSAT a few years ago. I wanted to take over my dad's business, but he advised me against it. I don't think he wanted to work long enough to ramp me up. laugh out loud

You can do it! woot

I'm working on getting my testing certification right now, and I don't have to renew that. But there are stepping stones to it; there are multiple certs that you can get depending on which ones you're going for and how long you've been in the profession. I technically shouldn't be able to get this one because I haven't been in the field long enough, but I'm not going to tell anyone that. Secret

It's well worth it to get those test prep books they have.. they are only like $20 each, and have lots of practice questions. Also sample essay topics.. The bottom line is that when you practice on these, you get a huge advantage. I took the GRE twice.
The first time, in undergrad.. Rolled out of bed, hung over.. did ok.
Second time, during one of my midlife crisises.. I went through like 4 of the study guides. When I did the reading comprehension parts on the real test, I could anticipate what the questions were going to be LMAO Also, practicing writing the essays (with a time limit) is a huge advantage to going in cold. The practice made it really easy..

The GRE are all on a computer now, so you can't even HJ the testing person to get extra time Annoyed

I'm considering if that's what I really want to do
I have some time to decide before I have to apply for next year, etc

15-20 years ago, I think it was worth it, no matter what degree you chose.
Today, I think it's only worth it in certain areas/majors.
