I'm actually debating buying The Avengers. I figure there's a decent chance I'll be getting a 3D TV next year (if not, then definitely the year after), and my older kid has already watched all the origin movies at least 2-3 times each (Iron Man 1 & 2, Thor, Captain America, The Hulk) if not more.
I probably won't buy it, but will need to rewatch it. I missed a couple of scenes when I originally watched it at the drive-in. I have only seen Iron Man 1 & 2, so there were a couple of parts that i was confused on.

"What do you think Junior? You think these hands - they've been soaking in Ivory liquid?"

When Kramer moves out to California over the key dispute, and he's riding in the van with the weirdos, and the dude asks him if he's ever killed a man. The Smog Strangler story arc.

He's an eccentric.
A hipster dufus, if you will.
Okay that was pretty obscure. But it was a funny scene.

And Kramer isn't a hipster. Hipsters think they're cool. Kramer is cool.

That's not very nice, but I'm sure it's not regular behavior right? Maybe he was just having a bad day. Dontknow
Not really...We talked about it this morning and he said he didn't want me guilting him into doing it. He does it when he feelks like it. Dontknow YOu would think I told him to go clean the bathtub or something.

Gap.com has stacking codes prettygap & gapsale. That's about 50% off sale items. There's some cute things. This is for all sale items. Oh and if it's $50 before discount you get FS

There aren't really any major elements you'd be missing, IMO, most of the cross-over stuff was more like easter eggs for people who had seen them all.

That's another reference, there was a girl that called him a hipster doofus Wink2

Regardless, all non-bottom-of-the-line sets have 3D built in now, and I want a larger, skinnier screen (have CRT projection now, thus it's got a huge footprint), so I'll be getting a 3D display no matter what I buy, and my PS3 will already play 3D Blu-Rays.

I was that way for a while, too, until I had a "come to Jesus" moment about being a dad. He'll come around. Comfort We never stop learning how to be better parents, and we don't always progress as the same time as our SO.

Do regular DVDs/BRs and everything else play fine on a 3D tv?

Yeah. I don't see how they'd be able to get anyone to buy them otherwise laugh out loud

Yeah, I'm thinking I might do that instead. Who knows what 3D bundles might be out there when I finally get the TV? Or convince the salesman "well, if you can't come down on the price, how about you toss in..."

So why hasn't it learned to block SD?
Okay, I'm just jumping in here, and barely read anything new. But my office firewall also seems to learn things and starts blocking new things, but also hasn't blocked SD. I figure it's because the IT department also goes to SD laugh out loud
