Yea, I went through a similiar transition, even though I didn't go completely sober.

Realizing, many "Friends" only shared a love for drinking, that was it..

I'm sure it's a big adjustment for Frenemie not to have one of her best drinking buddies as her WingGirl.. will take time for it to sink in.

Not all guys are like that..
It seems though.. all relationships settle into that pattern.. one person cools off, the other wants to keep going 2-3/day.. Man, I remember the first year of marriage.. On a Saturday, it was like 4-5/day.. Like stop mowing the lawn, run inside for a quickie, resume lawn mowing laugh out loud

If we could figure out a way to equal out partners' desires, we'd be rich, and probably reduce the divorce rate down to near zero..

For most of the non-shallow woman out there, I would say that looks matter less for women than for men. That's because (at least this is how most of my friends and I feel) we're attracted to personality. If you're ok looking, but fun and interesting and make her feel awesome about herself and about you, then your good features become more prominent and you become more and more attrictive to her in her eyes. If you're the hottest guy around and a huge jerk/douche then she's gonna start noticing all of the bad features and you'll become much uglier.
