File it under High School sucks.. It should be the best dating time ever.. no responsiblities, access to parent's car, no pressure to find anything permanent..... but somehow most 16-18 year olds manage to screw it up.

Well, you can't wait for a girl to ask you out.

Don't worry about whether the girl is actually interested or just being nice.. just ask.
What's the worst case? She says no, and then she feels awkward every time she sees you..
That's probably the worst case.. You're going to be out of college in about 2 years (?) anyway, so it doesn't matter. You have access to thousands of single women now.. When you graduate, the slate is totally wiped clean (you aren't likely to see these people ever again, unless you get in a LTR which is good).. This is the time to take risks.. Like I said, it's a numbers game.. just keeping asking girls out.. eventually one will say yes, and you'll be more confident.. As you get more confident and experienced, you'll have even better luck.

As soon as you leave college, the pool of women you can ask out will shrink tremendously.. You need to go for it

Try this.. when you are walking around, make eye contact with every girl you see. .Don't look away.. See if they return the eye contact, and if so , smile. If they smile back, start talking.
It sounds creepy, but it works. If the girl looks away or whatever, just laugh...
Maybe the first week, you don't even talk to them.. Just smile and get smiles back.. That will do a lot for your confidence... If it feels wierd doing it, go to a store and practice on old women until you get the hang of it.. (I'm sure if some MILF looks away, it won't be a blow to the ego).

That's because most 16-18 year old women want something romantic that turns into the perfect love story, so every dating thing is actually suppose to be a serious long term boyfriend and not just getting to know people and have fun.

They've been dating for a couple months already, so I know the kid, and I believe my reputation as "scary" is still intact. Hopefully it lasts through next year.

She's on the taller side too, seems to make finding something she likes harder. I have a feeling it will be even tougher for her sister, won't surprise me if she hits six feet tall (she can already wear her sister's shoes despite six years of age difference).
