My parents aren't elderly
I leave my phone in my purse or car if enjoying a meal out or shopping. I like to be present in the moment- not spaced out over my phone.

Apologies my dearest Mother, but I did not feel the need to answer the phone while in the throes of sexual bliss. I was afraid I might let out a "fark me harder" or a "spank me like the dirty slut I am" while you were telling me about what you had for dinner, and that might have been awkward for you.
