Yep, it's mandatory.. And then they wonder why everyone hates these things.
Our team building.. either it's go somewhere off site and pay your own way, or it's a damn potluck (which is a bigger PITA) in a conference room.. then you have to listen to management talk and talk.. Then they wonder why these team building events are not greeted with enthusiasm laugh out loud

Not in a good mood today.. Wasted about 6 hours due to a lazy coworker .. kept saying something was broken.. in the end, it was because he did a shortcut and his stuff was not fully up to date.. Thanks dude. Bomb

a redneck tends to be stupid and doesn't think things through. They're more of the "hey ya'll watch this!" type of people. I'd say country and hick are the same thing. I don't have an accent though.

That blows. We have our own training department that has their own budget. They typically bring in papa johns or honey baked ham or Fazzoli's or something. You know you can write off those lunch expenses on your tax returns right? You can also write off the gas an mileage for where ever you go to lunch.

Well, I got Tues and Wed off.. that's good enough.

But yea, I had to work extra yesterday and today to make up for it.. otherwise, I'd be too far behind/stressed out after vacation..
