I just think it's sexist to make it readily available to women and not men. Why should the burden fall on them? Why force them and not men to pump their bodies full of chemicals that can have adverse reactions instead of exploring and funding it for men?

Well, AFAIK condoms are generally freely available, and there's no temporary/guaranteed-reversible option for men, but yeah, I'd also support free/subsidized vasectomies for men. The last thing this society/planet needs is more people having babies that don't want to have them/aren't prepared to have them.
Why act as though supporting the availability of = forcing upon? That's intellectually dishonest.

Who's in charge this time? The last one was pretty bad.

Also an excellent counterpoint.

It's no more dishonest than calling it birth control instead conception control. There is no birth if there is no conception.

Some guy named Gareth Edwards [collider.com].

Yuppers...I want two more kiddos. I've always wanted to have 3 kids and since we already have one, I'm looking forward to getting started on the other two so that the age difference isn't too great.

There are a lot of studies going on for BC for men. The Pill for men isn't reliable enough to market yet. There's a "plug" being tested currently and waiting for approval that basically blocks the lil swimmers getting released when the guy gets his "release," and that one is looking very promising. Should be the counterpart for guys that the IUD is for women.

So there is a LOT of research going on for birth control for guys that is really cheap and should be easily subsidized.

Yes, it is. And pardon me for making the mistake of calling it "birth control" instead of "contraception" Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I haven't heard of anything he's done. Regardless, I have a hard time imagining it being any worse than the one from the 90s.

The 90s one was horrible. i can't believe I paid money to go see it. That movie is one reason I don't go to theaters any more.

I do take my BC but there's nothing wrong with doubling up protection. It sounds like a pretty easy procedure...http://voices.yahoo.com/first-rev...78441.html

Yeah.....I just like getting F1 riled up. Evillaugh

For the record, I think BC is a personal choice like anything else. And just like anything else, I don't like the gov't being involved in it.
