I have a feeling we'd make great team. My current boss is a lib, and most of my friends are. We have really good discussions on all kinds of stuff, and even though we disagree we don't resent each other. It's amazing the difference the conversation can have when it isn't typed and people can listen to tone.

We don't really talk politics here, and on the rare occasions that it comes up, we pretty much agree that they're all a bunch of bums laugh out loud

That's the way it always ends. Honestly no one is passionate about the things they don't believe in, and when you are passionate about something you want to back up why you believe what you do. Unfortunately numbers can be spun every which way in politics, but at least folks can have a mutual respect for each other's support for what they believe is right.
