We're hoping for the same and trying our hardest to stay positive as best as possible.
My old boss had an autistic daughter and I knew her for years and I was surprised when he told me. She is petite and kind of clingy, but sweet and keeping up in school with TSS help.

Because at that milage, 2000 calories a day is WAY too low. If you had increased your calories to like 3500, it would have taken a LOT less time.

I'm guessing the stomach issues are from vaccines. DS3 had horrible gastro reactions to them. When we stopped them his stomach healed up fine after some medications which weren't working when he was still getting regular rounds of vaccines.
Vaccinations are SO controversial in the US nowadays. I have friends that home school and/or don't vaccinate their kids, for religious and health reasons.

We don't do it because 3 of our kids have had adverse reactions. Vaccines alone aren't the problem.
