How long should I boil shrimp for, so that it does not get rubbery? I have water on boil right now.

For the right project, sure, I'd do a lot of things, but most of what I get involved in are the indie projects where they haven't sorted out their budgets, schedules, funding (and sometimes even the script), but want to start shooting anyway. I'm not going to do anything that's going to be so life-changing when there's no clear idea of when (or if) they'll ever actually finish shooting. (And how many other projects I'll be doing a bit of shooting on in between.)

Not to say that these seat-of-the-pants style productions aren't fun to do--they certainly are--but when I watch the behind-the-scenes featurettes on the big budget movies, I really envy the kind of time, planning, and preparation that they get to do beforehand.
