hug A lot of libraries have shows like "Signing Time" that you can check out for free. It might even be on Netflix or Amazon.

In the category of minor good news, the damaged speaker still sounds good, and loud, and good, too.
In the category of minor bad news, the guy who bought my old speakers thinks one pair doesn't work.

I'm staying up too late for my own good, watching guys build hot rods on Discovery Velocity.

I think the guy who bought the speakers doesn't understand surround sound. I'd wager he's playing 2-channel stereo music and expecting sound out of his rear speakers. That only happens with 5.1 sound, not 2.0 stereo. Even with 5.1 sound, the rear channels are used for a limited frequency range and then only for surround effects.

The damaged speaker has a large ding in the front edge. Definitely not acceptable at the price I paid.
