Not yet. Her doctor has to do a pre-auth with my insurance company before we can get her into a different hospital to do an arena assessment at a clinic that specializes in autism spectrum disorders. That's the "big" one we are waiting for.

Basically the only thing I know so far is her doctor believes she's on the spectrum, just doesn't think she meets the criteria for autism or aspergers specifically. Because of all of the other things she has going on (gastro issues, self harming behavior during tantrums, somewhat regressing with some things, small head, hands, feet, etc) she's suspecting rett syndrome.

I'm trying my hardest to stay away from google until we have a definite diagnosis. I made the mistake of reading a little about retts after her appointment wednesday, and its just a bit too much for me right now. I dont want to worry myself over suspicion, and retts is pretty damn scary.

I welcome any PM's if anyone wants to know more, talk about it, whatever. I dont want to clog this thread up too much, but I am finding it comforting to talk about it. I appreciate it soo much for all of the thoughts and kind words from everyone. It really means a lot hug

I'll keep everyone updated on any big news Grouphug

I like cheese pizza, it's good. Not a big fan of pepperoni anymore, it has a peculiar taste to it, my favorite is a supreme with no olives, they make me break out.

I really don't know, haven't been on many (I am sure you can guess the #). But I will take dinner and a movie, it sounds conventional and safe. Or tennis and dinner, that sounds good too.
