So I told my date (I really need to give him a nickname) about the Ex in the basement. He was ok with it! woot I explained it was just temporary, but did leave out the fact that he has "issues". I hope that doesn't come back to bite me.

They said a lab mix. She's a brindle color so maybe some boxer and perhaps some beagle? She's about 35-40 lbs and she needs to gain a bit more. She had a rawhide and hid a piece to save for later. I'm guessing the vet may know more when she goes for her checkup. She's obsessed with food and smells laugh out loud

Really, you've just started going out (I can't remember the whole history).. I don't really think you owe him all the history behind the story..
"Ex is temporarily living in the basement" seems more than adequate.. Good call on not giving him the entire story .. Glad "the talk" went well Smilie
