18+, US, unlimited entries (each entry must be different). Food professionals (this includes individuals who currently attend, have attended or who are graduates of an accredited culinary program or who are employed as chefs, food writers or food home economists who create recipes for pay) are not eligible to enter. Submit your original recipe suitable for entertaining in the following two categories: 1) Breakfast or 2) Dessert. Recipe must be prepared with at least one pouch of any Martha White Muffin Mix (less than 12oz size). Ends September 12, 2012 @ 11:59am CT

Grand Prize: (2 winners - 1 per category) $3,000 and a year's supply of Martha White muffin mix (ARV $3,065)
Runners-Up: (4 winners - 2 per category) $500 and a year's supply of Martha White muffin mix. (ARV $565)


Entries from anyone who has been a prize winner or finalist in any Sponsor contest (including contests for Smucker's, Jif, Crisco, Folgers, Hungry Jack, Martha White, Pillsbury, etc.) in the 12 months prior to the Contest start date will NOT be considered

You must indicate the recipe category you are entering and include a name for the Recipe. Recipes using alcohol as an ingredient will not be accepted. Recipes may not have won previous awards, may not have been published previously and must not infringe upon any other person's rights. Each recipe must yield six or more servings and must include U.S. standard measurements, complete preparation instructions, cooking time and temperatures, number of servings, size of pans and any special utensils or cookware. All ingredients must be widely available and found in most grocery stores. Recipe must not include the brand name of any ingredient or the trademark of any other manufacturer. The Recipe name may not include any person's name or brand name, including Martha White brand.

JUDGING: Initial Judging: Entries will be judged initially based on the written recipe by a qualified panel of judges and will consider the following: likely taste, creativity, appetizing appearance, ease of preparation, and appropriate use of the product(s). Final Judging: The top ten Recipes in each category will then be prepared and judged by a qualified panel of judges and assigned points based on the following criteria and point system: taste (1 to 30 points); creativity (1 to 30 points); appropriate use of product (1 to 15 points); ease of preparation (1 to 15 points); and appetizing appearance (1 to 10 points). The top three highest scoring Recipes in each category will be the Grand and Runner-up prize winners. In the event of a tie, the entry with the highest score in the taste category and then in the creativity category will be the winner. If a tie continues, the tied entries will re-judged by a new judge using the original criteria. The decisions of the judges will be final and binding.
