Today I am grateful.

3-item minimum. I'll start.
Today I am grateful because:
1. I have a bed to sleep in and a roof to put it under.
2. I have food to eat and I will not starve.
3. I have friends to call and a phone to call them with.
4. I have shoes to wear and someplace to go (and people who will be happy to see me when I get there).
5. I have a computer and internet access and I can come to the Lounge and play and enjoy my SD family.
Who's next?

9.)That we're all relatively healthy even though my daughter threw up twice this morning...y'all know what I mean.

2. My family, each and every one of them, but especially my mom. We never had those mother-daughter problems and have always been extremely close. This rocks my world! I love her so much!
3. I have a beautiful place to live that not only provides me with shelter, but also with serenity.
4. My dogs! They are my babies.
5. I can enjoy the country of my birth without worrying about bombs going off outside my door or getting murdered for walking down the street unescorted.
6. My love of books. This may seem small, but it has had a major impact on my live.
7. Air, Food, Water, Sun, Moon!
8. I have the health, mind, brains, physical ability, heart and mental fortitude to enjoy and share all of the above and more that I have not listed. I am alive

1. VQ starting this thread because it makes us think about all the things we have to be grateful for.
2. my family, including all of my relatives.
3. my lounge friends/acquaintances for the funny conversations that makes me chuckle. it's a great feeling to have when things are sucky
