I'm better with armor than with fabric, though, but I can imagine a chainmail top working well enough visually. We just want to stick with a lightweight design, though, but I generally use a fairly light wire for making chainmail bikinis.
Most people do _not_ know how to make those properly. I admit that there is a trick to it: you just have to keep in mind that breasts are three-dimensional. (In fact, breasts were 3-D even back before movies were. Imagine that.
