I miss you
If I can move into a trader's position, it's an entirely different division of the company, a higher pay scale, a different boss, more responsibility, and most importantly - my new boss will be just another bitch manager in another department.
I seriously miss you guys, I miss this thread - I can't even imagine how much I've missed lately, and it has only been a couple weeks.
She and I just don't get along, and we never have. I've worked with her in various ways for almost 7 years now. Our work relationship and our personalities just don't mix. They will never mix. We'd be lucky to achieve "oil and water" status, it's that bad!
I just feel like she's trying to find a reason to get rid of me so she doesn't have to manage someone who is her complete opposite. What's sad is that I'm the best asset this department has based out of my office, and she'd rather get rid of me (for her own personal benefit) than learn to work with me (for the benefit of the company).
Words. Words. Yay football. Blah.
Next time I make you give it to me, wake me up so I can remember it!!!

I don't wanna be the new boss, that's way too much responsibility. Right now, I'm just doing my job and not slacking off, snagging extra work and mini-projects when I can. Keep the new boss off my back for a few months, and there should be a trader position opening up in March (if not sooner!) that I can apply for

The kinds of things my new boss is complaining about are not the kinds of things that can get me fired. At least 80% of the stuff is just nitpicking as far as I'm concerned.
