Our whole health care system is soooo screwed up, with no easy solutions.
Workers blame employers for increased cost sharing requirements
Employers blame rising health insurance costs
Insurance companies blame medical industry
Medical industry blames malpractice insurance
Then comes the legal system
Don't forget the pharmaceutical industry
And my least Favorite, the FDA laugh out loud
So it leads back to montsanto bulb
Wink
Annoyed

Premiums are about what I'm paying now for just me and DW, but there's a lot of risk that comes with the 50/50 plan.

I personally don't believe anyone that is on government assistance (not SS or something they've paid in to already) should be able to vote. That is, unless they can help it. I have felt guilty voting in the past because my kids were on medicaid. We got swamped with medical bills and couldn't keep up with both, but they qualified for it based on my salary. They still qualify for it, but I don't want to them to be on it if I can afford to take them off now.
What if you can't help it and one of the people running wants to take it away from you?

This doesn't make sense to me

Everyone is on government assistance of some sort. The police, schools, fire departments are all services provided by the government for the greater good. We are all suppose to be working together to help each other. That is the point of these programs, to help everyone. There is no shame in using a device only in abusing it

Well remember I've been having weird allergic reactions since I had that bad reaction to Bactrim 2 months ago. It caused a head to toe major rash, syncope for a couple of weeks and it dropped different blood counts dramatically. Those things have resolved but now it's like it's made me hypersensitive to everything. I have the wheat allergy now so food choices are limited, and hives everyday. I get to finally see a Dermatologist tomorrow and I hope they can give me more answers. My health insurance company must hate me Roll

It's more annoying than anything really laugh out loud

Doh I'm the biggest Vvilesbrain !!! Why was I thinking there was something else before the allergic reaction... So that started the issues with the wheat. Sick I tried some wheat germ in a smoothie and it bloated me like a balloon. Cold

Did you try quinoa?
I had hives 2 springs in a row and it was horrible! Big big hug it's scary to wonder what the next mystery reaction may be or what will cause it!

Is the neuropathy painful? I've known people that had it and had issues walking or using their hands/arms.

Quinoa is a seed that's eaten like a grain. It tastes kinda nutty, I think. It gets good grades from the healthy types- lots of amino acids and stuff. I use it like rice- I can stir fry veggies and serve them tossed with it and a logotype olive oil, lemon juice, sea salt- or if you go to the fancy groceries they make quinoa salads with fruits- dried fruits- greens- I'll get ideas and copy their dishes Teehee

Are you guys watching Castle right now?? Rofl2
