I wish I had more freezer space.. Going to have to plan better next year (use up crap in the freezer that is just taking up space).

Our freezer is full of milk jugs full of water. I'd say there's probably 30 of them in there right now. It cuts way down on the cost of running it, and if I need to throw something else in there, I just take some jugs out, let them defrost, and drink some nice cold water. Then I wash and try them and put them away for later filling and reuse.
Before I had the genny wired to the house to run the well pump, we lived off of those jugs for days, and they kept the freezer from needing to be powered by the genny.
