The attached is the location (around the gas tank) on an Intrepid, but I would think they are in the same general area. At least that's where I'd start looking...

Thanks. That's around the gas tank? I thought it was in the engine compartment. I'm confused.

Well that should be where the pump and canister are (at least on an intrepid), but the sensor may or not be with it. If you give me a little bit I will see if I can track down the sensor location.

Thanks. You a mechanic or something? From what I've read, it says it's on the sensor is on the pump which is on the canister. The Haynes manual makes it look like it's in the engine compartment, but I could be reading it wrong.

No, just spend more time working on vehicles than I care to and I am fairly proficient with the google Wink

I can't find anything about a sensor. There is a solenoid on the vapor canister surge valve that should be above the gas tank. Do you have a P/N of the sensor you are looking for? Not at all trying to insult your mechanical skills, but how did you come to the conclusion the EVAP sensor is bad? Is it throwing codes? If so, do you know what codes?

About what it seems like in here laugh out loud

So I'm sure there is a back story to the question I was asked about 'where women pee from', care to enlighten me?

My mechanic said it was the evap sensor, but I can't find anything on it. if i recall correctly, the code is P0441. Does the solenoid go bad?

Maybe it's the LDP? Dontknow

I don't think it's the sensor. I think it's the leak detection pump valve thingy.
