Yard is fairly large. Not huge, but not average either. Old mower was a top-of-the-line Honda and lasted twenty years. Figured I'd replace it with a similar HRX217HYA model [homedepot.com]. HD has it for $100 less than most places, which was quite a surprise.

I'm taking my mom shopping for an outfit for her to wear to my sister's wedding in Dec. Ex isn't back from meeting w/ his boss, so I will have to take the kids with me.

PISSED at HomeDepot.com and my local HD store. Ordered model # HRX217HYA online, received HRX217HXA at the store. Store staff says "it's the same, it's equivalent". I say, no, it's NOT what I ordered. "We'll be glad to refund this purchase, and you can look elsewhere for it." Uh, NO damnit, I ordered something from your site, it said you had that something at this store, and you gave me something different. For the price I paid, I expect to receive the EXACT item I ordered. Ranting

Just found out (ironically enough, from Home Depot's Q&A page [homedepot.com]) the only difference between the two sub-levels of mower is an automatic choke. You'd think someone in charge of the lawn and garden department ought to know and understand the difference. Not in today's world, I guess. shake head
