Weird, wouldn't think there would be much difference, though the 'RT' may increase the price as it is supposed to be the performance model(s).

No, and I'm not going to wait around with it to find out. I was going to, but all of the cars like mine are listed well below KBB and NADA. it's not worth it to spend the money and fix it.
Yeah, if I were selling mine, I'd probably take the first $1500 offer I got and be happy with it.

I'm not saying you're not a real parent. I'm just saying the dynamics are different. It's different when you're there, from birth, and there every single day.

It just bothers me when people are like "OMG, I can't believe you let your kids do that."

Right now I owe 4500 on it, which is what kbb and nada have it listed at, but the only one's available for sale are around 3500. So I listed it at 3500 and will make a 1k payment on the car tomorrow so I'm even again

Hahahaha...kinda...I mean you're suppose to train your children, people just prefer to call it "raising." I think it's the same with pets for some people who feel as if their pets are their children...

We're just very consistent with the kid and he earns privileges when he behaves properly and gets them taken away when he misbehaves. There are times that I feel Phrozty's a little too hardcore, but we stay consistent, which is the most important thing for a kid or a pet. It gives them security and something they can trust in. Where as DS doesn't get consistency at his other home. No consistent bedtime, no routine when getting home from school, his daycare (before KG) didn't have any routine or structure so when he went to KG it was really really hard on him having all kinds of structure and rules when he didn't have that anywhere else but our house.

KBB is always too high.

It shouldn't be much to insure, although somehow it was cheaper to list my kid as the driver of my Firebird than it was for my Chrysler (2 door sporty V6 vs sedan with a four cylinder Dontknow). Hope you sell it. Wish someone would buy my damn cars.

It's not an "OMG, I can't believe you do that" kinda thing. If it's ok with your family dynamic and isn't affecting the adult relationship much then I think it's fine. But if someone's really feeling the affects of it on their adult time and it's a problem then there are ways to fix it. It really has to do with what works best for you. It just didn't seem like the sitch was working well for Nessy so JJ and I both thought that a little encouragement of standing firm on the "No kids in bed" issue would help.

Well, your initial reply didn't really have any advice or a very encouraging tone.

Quote from beanqueen :
Wow...I don't let kids sleep with me...you always hafta knock first before you come in and if you get in bed for a bit...as soon as you're asleep...you're back in your own bed. That's how I grew up and that's how my kids will.
You just basically said "wow, I don't do that" and went on to describe how it was for you as a kid. I guess I just don't see where the "encouragement" is coming from. Dontknow
