I told the bride that this was the exact reason we can't have nice things, and I tried a sharpie on one of the smaller spots, and it rubbed off within a day.

My ex had a tan leather couch (I had my sofa- long story) that seemed to get very worn very fast. I think the dogs nails left little scratches, and then it got dirty. I moved out before if got really bad but it drove me crazy.
