so i went to see the boy's parents on Sunday, and spent time with them watching the local Christmas parade. his aunt was there too, and 2 of his grandmas. they're all so cool and fun to hang out with. his dad was driving a tractor in the parade, so it was just us women for awhile.

well, i told his mom about the promise ring that he and i had talked about for a few weeks now, and then i showed her the ring and she said it was lovely - a lovely ring for a lovely woman. then she said she was thrilled to hear it Blush and that she was so happy to have me in their lives, and how appreciative she was for all that i'd done for her son. i showed his dad later, and he was pretty happy about it too.

it was a good day. Smilie

No parades here, too cold for that now Coverlaugh
We had our tractor parade in September.
I think the bitter cold yesterday (8F in the morning) adjusted me for the winter. 22 didn't feel so bad today. Still no snow, so there's that Woot

But I had to go for the last umpteen years (well, I guess it's technically six) because my kid was in the marching band. Didn't have to go this year, she dropped band because the teacher is a dillhole.
