What is with the new people constantly going into threads and cutting people down? Why are we putting down other's screennames? why are we so goshdarn rude? This site has gotten out of control and mods really need to take control of the rudeness of it. This site used to be such a nice place to hang out. Now you have to stand up for yourself in every thread you make because the asshats come along and either hijack the thread or will start being, well, asshats. And people wonder why we start going to other forums?

We have the mod alert feature for a reason, people. Use it. There are eleven of us, and thousands of all of you. We can't read every post.

1) Mod alert the really rude posts. It's a fine line between someone being an asshat and kidding, and someone just being an asshat. I try to only bug the mods about the ones that are pretty clearly over the line
2) USE THE IGNORE LIST! Too many people here think it's rude to use it. My experience here improved quite a bit once I figured out who some of the troublemakers/idiots are here and plopped them on that list. And I'm not trying to offend everyone...there are idiots in all walks of life. My definition of an idiot is different from yours, which is why we have individual ignore lists. So now my lounge browsing is mostly stress free
