..I think it's time to dump her. Should we get divorced?
She went out last Saturday night with some guy, stayed out until 1 am. Then on Tuesday, she's out again until 1 am, says they went to eat and then a movie!!?! Last night, 1:30. It's getting later, I guess it's time to dump her!
What would you do?

The kids matter regardless of which adult they belong to.
He is still their stepfather until she remarries.
This isn't all about him and her, there are kids involved.

sorry to hear about all this. but, i guess it's better this way and good riddance.
it always angers me when i hear stories like these. if ppl want out of a marriage, then get a divorce. why carry on an affair and introduce the kids to the "other man/woman" before any discussion of divorce? it only teaches the kids that it's okay and may confuse the kids too.
He can be a great many things to all of the children so long as he maintains a connection to them. His kids will also probably continue to think of her as their stepmom until such time as they deem her to be dads second wife, which doesn't usually happen with kids until they are adults.

In the long run, he should only be worried about his kids...as these are the only ones he legally will care for...

It sounds like you have been through hell and back trying to figure out the right and mature thing to do. Her children and yours are very lucky that you are in their lives.
