Puppy!

We picked this little guy up from a rescue on sunday. He's a lab mix. We're not quite sure of his breed. This is my first dog... Maggie's had many.
He's a happy little camper... unless we leave him alone. We are crate training him. He's not very fond of that at all. He'll grow out of it though. He came from a litter of 5, so up til sunday night, he had never spent a moment alone in his short life. It's kinda cool that we can go outside and he just follows us.
Anyhow, he needs a name, and we're still undecided.
I kinda like "Champ". We live right by Lake Champlain, which has it's own version of the Locke Ness monster called "Champ". Maybe Oscar. Maybe Joey. (Cats - Chloe+Zoe)
While I'm being a postwhore... why stop here? I had a fun weekend at Lake George NY... rented a pontoon boat and explored the lake. My MIL is looking to buy a pontoon boat so we thought we'd test drive one. (if anyone has advise on brands or anything.. I'm all ears since she's kinda put me on research)
Yesterday, I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled, and also 4 biopsies on these little white spots on my cheeks. I chew my cheeks a lot so they're pretty sure it's just scar tissue, but yea, my mouth is a bit of a mess right now. God bless good painkillers. Weeeeeeeee!

the dog feels up the kids?
Newer pic:
We hope he's good with the child-to-be. He's spent some time around screaming toddlers and passed the test with flying colors.
Bet he's got a great personality too!!

Poor guy had developed quite a phobia of thunder... and this summer has been just storm after storm for us.
He's also got a completely unexplainable phobia of my damn flashlight. (FLASH!) The second he sees me with it... his ears go down (sad) and his head dips... and he kinda hides. I have no idea where he got this phobia from. The only abuse this dog has ever had to endure was a light slap on the nose with a slipper he just chewed to pieces.
All in all, he's a good boy though. He hasn't chewed anything bad in many months... I wonder if we can even trust him loose in the house while gone....
My mom developed some rolls of film we've had for years, and scanned some super cute pictures of when my baby Gander was a puppy:
Crazy to think that he used to be that cute
Get his dna tested. We had it done and found out that our pure chihuahua was part chinese creasted, standard schnauzer (?) and chihuahua.

Your dog appears to have walleye syndrome.
Sorry you lost your companion.
