Puppy!

We picked this little guy up from a rescue on sunday. He's a lab mix. We're not quite sure of his breed. This is my first dog... Maggie's had many.
He's a happy little camper... unless we leave him alone. We are crate training him. He's not very fond of that at all. He'll grow out of it though. He came from a litter of 5, so up til sunday night, he had never spent a moment alone in his short life. It's kinda cool that we can go outside and he just follows us.
Anyhow, he needs a name, and we're still undecided.
I kinda like "Champ". We live right by Lake Champlain, which has it's own version of the Locke Ness monster called "Champ". Maybe Oscar. Maybe Joey. (Cats - Chloe+Zoe)
While I'm being a postwhore... why stop here? I had a fun weekend at Lake George NY... rented a pontoon boat and explored the lake. My MIL is looking to buy a pontoon boat so we thought we'd test drive one. (if anyone has advise on brands or anything.. I'm all ears since she's kinda put me on research)
Yesterday, I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled, and also 4 biopsies on these little white spots on my cheeks. I chew my cheeks a lot so they're pretty sure it's just scar tissue, but yea, my mouth is a bit of a mess right now. God bless good painkillers. Weeeeeeeee!

Allow me to introduce........myself.
Eww, get yourself to the dentist or whomever stitched you. You're just making it worse, Drio! Ugh! I think I'm having hypochondriac feelings here.
You should have her attempt to lift a boat herself and put it back into the water just so she knows that her lift can handle it and herself too. Pontoons are fun, but they're the same as looking at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Big eyes, little stomach syndrome.
PUUUUUPPY POWER!!!
I was eating soft food for 2 days, and on the 3rd day I was eating normal food.

That's the thing... this lift isn't made for pontoon boats, only normal hulls. I don't even think a pontoon boat would fit in between the supports for it. She might just need to pull it up to the dock and tie it.
I tried to talk her into these 'hybrid' types of boats that have lots of room and a flat deck like a pontoon... but they have conventional hulls so they are faster and handle better. She doesn't want anything fast...

That's what I mean. She should rent another pontoon and take it over to her lift to see if she can bring it out of the water and put it back herself.
Nothing fast, huh? Maybe you can talk her into a canoe. You can only go as fast as your arms allow you to paddle. Just sayin... Have her buy a faster boat for the rest of ya to party on and you can just do some trolling with her canoe attached to the back.
Gus is a rescue, pretty sure he is a labordoodle..
Lab and Poodle mix.. Has the same Black and apricot marking....
If he starts to get really furry, and not shed.. they may be related
