Alright, just finished converting that group of programs with the no-no hardcodes to have config files, and also to take in various information from the command line to generate past reports, so that when something breaks in the process again, it's a matter of minutes to get everything squared away.

I just went out and checked the color code on the MB too, it's "manila beige". So now I have the correct code with which to order the right paint, so I can at least get it looking better (and address the hubcaps) while I decide what to do about a full paint job. Looks like ~45ish for a can of touch-up and clear coat. I imagine Bondo stores for a while, so I might as well fill in those two rust spots and get them taken care of while I'm doing everything else.

Cars are an expensive pain in the ass. When I move to Portland I will ride my bike everywhere and buy a junky cheap car for when I have to ride in an auto.

I am glad I bought the extended warranty, and I'm really not at all worried about what it's doing. But it's a gigantic pain in the tookus to go to the dealership to get anything done. Especially on a frickin' Saturday Facepalm
