I only use ASUS mobos. In 16ish years of building PC's I've had maybe 2 mobo failures and one was definitely a power surge.

I don't really have anything bad to say about them either. All of my Asus products have held up pretty well (including the cheapie RT-G32 router that I only bought as a stopgap measure and am still using as my primary)
