i have tapioca and potato starch, usually no cornstarch, would that work?

yes, i made a crummy roux. it seemded like it was taking up quite a bit of flour. so, when i added the milk. i lost patience, & put in blendtec to speed things up. FAIL!

Our "rescue" cat still seems to have nursing urges (and he's 3 or 4 now), I really think it's from him being separated from his mother too early. He was tiny when we found him. I wonder if it's something like that for her.
