Sugar and honey is practically HFCS...I wasn't trying to attack...I just know you're all into your conspiracies and I was just seeing if you'd bought into the HFCS one and that's why, but if it's a matter of taste, because the release of sweetness is ever so slightly different, then it's all good...

hug away all your anger!
I don't buy in to HFCS being a specific culprit, but I do subscribe to the belief that the increase is autism and other illnesses is because of the increased toxicity of everything. By that I don't mean that HFCS is toxic, but it's a variant (although small) of natural sweeteners. When we put all of these toxins in our bodies or in our food sources, it's going to cause variants in our brain and body. I just think that extra fluoride, GMOs, growth hormones, antibiotics, preservatives, air pollution, pesticides, chemically enhanced fertilizers, vaccines, etc., are going to have an impact. We've gotten away from natural remedies (like noses full of lemon juice) and natural foods (squirrel!) and gone to variants and poisons to supplement our diets. Granted, it's a fact of life now, and we're living longer, but we're facing an increase in mentally and physically debilitating diseases.

I use the Quaker tortilla mix and they're flexible you just have to let them cool down.

I turn my nose up at those disgusting store bought tortillas. Although, some Wal-Mart makes their owns tortilla at the store every day down here and those are yummy.

I recently started watching Glee. Anyone else like that show?
I hate Glee, Sorry

Isn't AG a Gleek?

I've never been a fan, but they can go fark themselves especially hard after they blatantly ripped off Jonathan Coulton's cover of Baby Got Back.

Yeah, I get that...I'm mainly a firm believer in balance/moderation/variety...if you want a pop now and again, that's fine...3 pops a day is gonna be bad for you no matter what. If you get a little bit of everything and not a lot of anything, you're gonna build up the right tolerances without buildups in your body. I guess to me, people need good guidelines that they mostly stick to and vary once in a while. I think it's far too stressful to worry constantly about what's in your food and it's far too lazy to never worry about it...just pay attention and keep varying your foods. Sometimes have fresh veggies, sometimes have frozen, have white and red meat, eat some grains here and there, don't eat a lot of "diet" food/drinks...

I also wish people would educate themselve about the meds they take...if you're on antibiotics...then TAKE THEM ALL! If you have a viral infection, don't take antibiotics! Vaccines are good...they build up our immunities if done properly. I'm just a big fan of balance...Cool

i can see that. what pisses me off is the docs who prescribe antibiotics for everything. My oldest went to the doc a year or two ago and was tested for an infection. The results showed it was viral so he prescribed . . . . . antibiotics!!!! Facepalm
