So My Wife Moved In With Her Boyfriend... (Update #211)

8,514 793 August 12, 2007 at 12:02 AM in Sporting Goods
Well you can call her Strike Three cuz she is outta here!

The U-Haul came this morning. Since he doesn't want to tell his friends about me (she was told to lie and say she's been divorced for a couple of years), it was only him, her and me to load up the truck. I had all the boxes and furniture in the garage. Only the pictures and breakable stuff were in the house. I helped him load up the U-Haul (and we packed it full) without so much as a Thank You. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) She has a real winner there.

For those that don't know... LINK

Wow! I just spent an hour reading this and the other thread. Stealth is a class act plain and simple.

As humans, our first response to being hurt is to hurt back.

It takes a strong, determined, SANE person to resist a natural instinct.

My mom cheated on my dad. He had no idea it was going on. Married 16 years, stay at home mom, 4 kids aged 13 to 3. My older brother and I were the ones who clued my dad in.

He wound up with custody of all 4 of us, poor guy lol! He somehow managed to keep it together, and now years later, he says when he felt like he wanted to do something violent or at the very least illegal to her/her "boyfriend", he always thought about what he would be teaching his children by doing that.

I'm the only daughter out of the 4 of us kids who all have trust issues. I only wish I could meet someone with as much dignity as Stealth has shown through all of this.

I was very careful about who I ended up marrying (dated 3 years, both of us said we were committed to each other and no others. Married 2001, found out last year that he had been having several affairs all over the country as he travels for business. Some of the women knew he was married, some he told he was either single or divorced. Doesn't matter as he is dead to me.

I coordinated the movers coming for his things to be put in storage. The entire time I had fantasies of setting his things on fire or worse. But like Stealth, I pretty much just wanted him and everything related to him out of the house (which we sold, split the proceeds, and now I live alone in a new place -- couldn't stand the thought of going through the courts to get my pound of flesh, even though my friends think I'm crazy coz I could've made out like a bandit $-wise.)

Life is too short. No amount of anger or vengeance would have made me feel better about what happened. I'm thankful we didn't have kids, but even without little ones, my only thought was to get as far away from him and his lies and get on with my life. Helping him move was the first step to staying in touch with my dignity. If I had gone BSC (even though all my friends said it was my right), I would have felt less about myself.

Anyways, long story long, Stealth...you can look at yourself in the mirror every day with your head up because you didn't give into the natural impulse to hurt her back. The guy she's with will be her next victim, and for you (as I feel for me) the BEST REVENGE IS LIVING RIGHT.

You will be happy again!

Some of you people need to look up the definition of a "troll". Just because Jazzymac does not agree with the majority and doesn't side with stealth, it does not make him a troll, just a person with different opinions then yours.
Wow...where were you last week when this mess was going on. Repped in spirit! heart

Your girl,
