To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry and a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia (U.S. territories, including without limitation Puerto Rico, are excluded), or Canada (excluding Quebec).
Essay must be uploaded after Monday 1/28/13 at 10:00 AM PST and before Monday 2/11/13 at 11:59 PM PST ("Submission Period").
During the Submission Period (defined below), enter the contest by sharing an essay (250 words or fewer) explaining how Mariah Carey has impacted your life on the Mariah Moments Contest tab on OPI's Facebook page at www.facebook.co
Limit one entry per person.
CONTENT RESTRICTIONS
• Your essay must be original and truthful; • Your essay must not contain material that violates or infringes another's rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement; • Your essay must not disparage Sponsor, Mariah Carey or any other person or party affiliated with the Contest; • Your essay must not contain language that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, libelous or otherwise questionable. Sponsor retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content. • Your essay must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and • Your essay must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state or province where your essay is created.
A team of qualified judges chosen by the Sponsor in its sole discretion will select one (1) grand prize winner and three (3) runners up based on the following criteria: relevance to the prompt, writing quality, and overall genuine spirit.
PRIZES
1 grand prizewinner will receive a 16-piece official display containing two of each Mariah Carey by OPI nail lacquer shade (16 bottles total). (Approximate retail value $144.00 USD.) Three (3) runners up will each receive the Mariah Carey by OPI lacquer shades (8 bottles). (Approximate retail value $72.00 USD.)
