Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 PM Eastern Time ("ET") on February 1, 2013 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on February 10, 2013 ("Sweepstakes Period"), and consists of two (2) entry periods (each an "Entry Period") as described in the chart below.
Open to legal residents of the Continental U.S. who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
During the Sweepstakes Period, watch Gold Rush on Discovery Channel. During the show, there will be a Code given on air once during the first half of the show, and once during the second half. After you obtain the Code for that episode, visit www.goldrushgiv
Limit one (1) entry per person/email address per Entry Period.
2/1/13 Code Word - Hard Hat
One (1) Grand Prize per Entry Period: Each a trip for the winner and one (1) guest to attend the taping of the final episode of Gold Rush LIVE on Friday, February 22, 2013 in Portland, Oregon. The prize consists of:
• round trip coach air travel from a major commercial airport near winner's residence (as determined by Sponsor);
• standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations for 3 days/2 nights;
• admission to the Gold Rush LIVE taping; and
• $500 spending money.
Approximate retail value of each Grand Prize is $3,500.00. Trip must be taken on dates specified by Sponsor, or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Travel dates are currently anticipated to be February 21-23, 2013, but are subject to change as deemed necessary by Sponsor its sole discretion. All other expenses not specified herein are the winner's sole responsibility. Air carriers, hotels and other transportation will be selected by Sponsor. Guests of Grand Prize winners must be 18 years of age or older, and must complete a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. Each winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for all necessary travel authorizations and for any travel insurance. Each winner or his/her guest must provide hotel with a major credit card issued in one of their names to cover room security and incidental expenses, if any. Further, hotel may require the party providing a major credit card to be age 21 or older.
