Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on February 11, 2013 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on April 14, 2013.
Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age.
During the Promotion Period, there are two (2) ways to participate;
1) IHOP Check-in: while visiting an IHOP restaurant, check-in to IHOP on Facebook using your smartphone device. Then, visit the IHOP Facebook page and click "Let's Get Started" to confirm your check-in to receive one (1) Game play and one (1) Sweepstakes entry. If you are a Game winner, you will receive an email with a winning Game message within one (1) hour of participation.

Then, follow the instructions provided to complete the online registration form and submit your own "Melt Away, Getaway" short story in one hundred and forty (140) characters or less to receive one (1) Game play and one (1) Sweepstakes entry. If you are a Game winner, you will receive an email with a winning Game message within one (1) hour of participation. If you do not receive a winning email message, you are not a Game winner.
To receive one (1) additional Game play and one (1) additional Sweepstakes entry: once you have played the Game and received a Sweepstakes entry via one of the methods above, you can follow the directions to share the Promotion with your friends on Facebook. You will receive one (1) additional Game play and one (1) additional Sweepstakes entry for sharing the Promotion with a friend. You may not refer a friend more than once.
Limit of two (2) Game plays and two (2) Sweepstakes entries per person using only one email address per day throughout the Promotion Period, regardless of method of participation.
Sweepstakes Grand Prizes (5): A 4-day/3-night vacation to winner's choice of either Grand Pineapple Beach Resort in Jamaica or Grand Pineapple Beach Resort in Antigua. Vacation includes 4-day/3-night hotel accommodations for winner and one (1) guest at winner's choice of any Grand Pineapple Beach Resort in Jamaica or Antigua, and all-inclusive meals, beverages, and activities/entertainment while at the resort and $1,000, awarded in the form of a check to winner which may be used to assist with air and ground transportation for winner and his/her guest to/from resort. Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts is an all-inclusive resort destination. Therefore the provided prizes will include deluxe accommodations, all meals, daily & nightly entertainment, all land and water sports, and gratuities. Telephone calls, internet, spa treatments and services, specialty dining, tours & excursions, inter-island transportation, transportation to and from the airport, island departure taxes and purchases made at the specialty shops are not included. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each Sweepstakes Grand Prize is $2,800 each.
Game Prizes (8,000): A $5 digital IHOP gift card. ARV of each gift card is $5.00.
