CONTEST DESCRIPTION: The Contest begins at 12:00:00AM Eastern Time ("ET") on
Monday, April 15, 2013 and ends at 11:59:59PM (ET) on Friday, May 17, 2013 ("Contest Period").
HISTORY® invites America's youth ages 7 to 13 to search for and tell us about the interesting or
unique items in their own communities. (Examples of places to look: flea markets, garage sales, or
even your own family collections, etc.) What interesting or unique items have you discovered? What
did you "Pick"?
ELIGIBILITY: To enter the Contest you must have your parent or legal guardian's ("Parent")
permission and be (i) a student between the ages of seven (7) and thirteen (13); (ii) enrolled in an
accredited public, private, or home school in one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of
Columbia ("United States"); and (iii) a legal resident of the United States
HOW TO ENTER: Visit www.history.com/classroom or http://www.history.com/shows/amer...k-and-tell,
download and print the online Official Contest Entry Form, and submit
via U.S. Mail, the completed entry form, including the signature of a Parent/Guardian, a written
description of five hundred (500) words or less about an item you have found of historical interest,
which can be related to local or community history, or any American history topic that interests you
most or is most relevant to the chosen item ("Description"), plus supporting material such as a
photograph ("Photo") OR video footage ("Video") adequately depicting the item and that supports the
Description (collectively, the "Entry") to: History Pick and Tell Student Contest, c/o Corporate
Outreach Department, A+E Networks, 235 East 45th Street, New York, New York, 10017. Note
that submitting a Video or Photo is not required and will not increase your chances of winning.
