I know that there are a few of you.
I have a lot of time on my hands, so I'm attempting some new things. I'm actually using patterns now, where before I just knitted whatever came about.
I'm beginning to realize that I only have small needles and I'm becoming a yarn snob.
I knitted a hat for my nephew, one for myself (no patterns), a baby-carrier (no pattern), and now I'm going to start working on some fingerless gloves.
Anyone else? Any deals on good yarn, needles, etc.?

I listened to another one where the woman was talking about the fantastic time that she had at the Harry Potter...festival?? (I have no idea what you actually call it.)
Now, I've read the books. I've seen the movies, but the day will never come where I dress up and go hang out with a bunch of 12 year olds who want to play. It's not like she went with a kid. She went with friends.
I don't know, maybe there's someone on this site who can help me understand that, but for now, I just shake my head in confusion.
