I know that there are a few of you.
I have a lot of time on my hands, so I'm attempting some new things. I'm actually using patterns now, where before I just knitted whatever came about.
I'm beginning to realize that I only have small needles and I'm becoming a yarn snob.
I knitted a hat for my nephew, one for myself (no patterns), a baby-carrier (no pattern), and now I'm going to start working on some fingerless gloves.
Anyone else? Any deals on good yarn, needles, etc.?

The workmanship is fantastic. The yarn was sold by KMart, 8 oz for $2.44. 67% Orlon 33% Dacron, 4 ply worsted weight. It appears to be a brand made for KMart.
Ah, it says "Orlon Acrylic and Cacron Polyester are registed DuPont Trademarks. So it's acrylic and polyester. It feels pretty nice, softer that RedHeart.
I'm not allowing myself to get started on it until I finish up the afghan I'm working on for a friend who is having a baby.

Then my best guess if you are, indeed, one stitch short- is the rightmost loop sort of facing downward in your photo. I would put that on a needle by itself and then either knit or purl (what is the rest of the row?) it back onto the other needle with the rest of the stitches.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. My guess is that if it's a dropped stitch, just pick up the farthest loop and knit with that.
