answer five (5) questions (responses should each be one hundred (150) words or
fewer) and one (1) photo (with a title not to exceed fifteen words) that demonstrate how
Microsoft products are helping the entrant create change or will help create change in the
community.
Submission Phase 2: If you are deemed to be a finalist ("Finalist") as outlined in section 6a, you will be invited via email to participate in Submission Phase 2. During Submission Phase 2, visit the link provided to you in Finalist email. Then, follow the directions to upload one (1) video of the Finalist creating change in the community, hereafter referred to as your submission ("Finalist Submission").
Limit: Each entrant may upload one (1) Submission during the Submission Phase
Compelling proposal for how Microsoft products will help entrant support their
cause/idea; clear connection to product features (25%)
Well-articulated vision for how prize package will help them support cause/idea
(25%)
Current/potential social impact of the idea (25%)
Originality, creativity and quality of submission (25%)
Limit: Each person may vote one (1) time per day during the Voting Phase.
Prizes: FIVE (5) GRAND PRIZES: Technology bundle with Xbox 360 250GB console with
Kinect, $2,500 cash to further your cause, an opportunity to serve as a YouthSpark
ambassador, Windows 8 Phone (or equivalent substitute of the Sponsor's choice if phone is determined to not be compliant given winner's current plan), $1,259 for taxes, and trip for one (1) to Kenya with the organization Me to We. Trip package includes round trip, coach-class air transportation for one (1) from a major airport near winner's home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Kenya; twenty (20) nights' accommodations at lodging determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Please read carefully the following terms and conditions of the Me to We trip:
Must be fit for travel and have seen a travel doctor,
Must hold a valid passport,
Must have proof of travel medical insurance for the trip duration,
The prize is only valid for the Kenya trip departing August 5, 2013 and returning
August 25, 2013.
The prize includes:
International airfare (Your home city to Nairobi, Kenya),
Three daily meals on the trip and purified drinking water,
All accommodations during the trip,
Transportation during the trip,
All cultural and sightseeing activities on the trip, and
Me to We facilitators and leadership programming
