PARTICIPATION LIMITED TO SMOKERS 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER WHO ARE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (EXCEPT FOR RESIDENTS OF MASSACHUSETTS AND MICHIGAN) VOID IN MASSACHUSETTS, MICHIGAN AND WHERE PROHIBITED
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
PURCHASE OR ACCEPTANCE OF A PRODUCT OFFER DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING
1. ELIGIBILITY: The Marlboro Black From the Road Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are smokers 21 years of age or older (except for residents of Massachusetts and Michigan). Void in Massachusetts, Michigan and where prohibited by law. Employees of Philip Morris USA Inc. ("Presenter"), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, vendors, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children) of each are not eligible. Noncompliance with any of the above eligibility requirements will result in disqualification.
2. PROMOTION PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 AM ET (start of day) on 6/3/13 and continues through 11:59:59 PM ET on 8/25/13 (the "Promotion Period").
3. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: A daily prize is available to be won each day during the Promotion Period. Each daily entry period begins at 12:00:00 AM ET (start of day) and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET ("Daily Entry Period"). Entries received during each Daily Entry Period will only be eligible for that Daily Entry Period's drawing. Limit one entry per person per Daily Entry Period.
4. HERE'S HOW TO ENTER: To participate in the Sweepstakes, you must be a registered user at www.marlboro.co
Once you have registered, log on to www.marlboro.co
Photo Requirements :
Photo must be in JPEG or PNG formats only, with a maximum file size of 5MB.
Photo may be in color or black and white.
No identifiable person(s) are permitted to appear in the photo.
Photo must not in any way disparage Presenter or persons or organizations associated with the Presenter; must not include threats to any person, place, business, or group; must not invade privacy or other rights of any person, firm or entity; and must not in any other way violate applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations.
Photo must not depict or promote illegal drug use, use of firearms/weapons or any activities that appear to be unsafe or dangerous.
Photo must not contain or depict offensive words or statements (including words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group).
Photo must not contain or reference indecent behavior, including but not limited to, profanities, obscenities, nudity or pornography.
Photos must not contain content that is inappropriate, hateful, tortuous, defamatory or slanderous, as determined by Presenter in its sole discretion.
Photos must not contain content that is health- and/or youth-oriented.
Photo must not contain any reference to tobacco-related products or tobacco usage.
Entrant must receive prior written permission from the photographer of the photo if the photo was taken by someone other than the entrant and must provide such permission to Presenter upon request.
Presenter/Judges reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any entry that, in their sole opinion, includes a photo that does not comply with the above Photo Requirements and these Official Rules in general, including any photo that refers, depicts or in any way reflects negatively upon the Presenter or the Sweepstakes.
Once a photo is submitted, it may not be deleted or modified, except by Presenter.
All material submitted becomes the sole property of Presenter and will not be acknowledged or returned. Presenter will post selected photos to www.marlboro.co
5. RANDOM DRAWINGS: Random drawings to select one winner per Daily Entry Period will be conducted from among all eligible entries received for each Daily Entry Period within approximately 24 to 72 hours following each Daily Entry Period deadline. Entries from one Daily Entry Period drawing will not be rolled over into subsequent Daily Entry Period drawings. The odds of winning the prize for a Daily Entry Period will depend upon the number of eligible entries received for that Daily Entry Period. For prize details see Rule 6. All drawings will be conducted by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final.
6. PRIZES: (84) Grand Prizes (1 per Daily Entry Period): Each winner will receive a check in the amount of $500.00. No transfer or substitution of prize by winner permitted. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. Winners of multiple prizes with an aggregate value of $600 or more will be required to provide their Social Security number as a condition of prize award and will be issued an IRS form 1099 reporting the total aggregate value of the prizes won as stated in these Official Rules.
